About Us

In the world of House of Koko, it all started on the rugby field, where Cocky and Kim found each other in a shared passion for sports and adventure. But behind the hard tackles and playful rivalry, they discovered a common love for something surprising - green.

Cocky and Kim, the faces behind House of Koko, are two friends who have long enjoyed working with their hands. With a desire to make the world around them greener and put a quirky twist on the norm, they embarked on an adventure that would change their lives and those of others.

It all started with Kokedama - beautiful plant balls originally made with moss. But, as it goes, Cocky and Kim soon discovered that moss had its own challenges when it came to growing and thriving. Determined to create a green companion without the limitations of moss, they decided to follow their own path and chose coconut fibre as an alternative.

But their story isn’t just about making beautiful things; it’s also about making a difference. At the heart of House of Koko lies a deep commitment to educating and inspiring others about the importance of green. Through workshops and green projects at schools in The Hague, Cocky and Kim share their passion for plants with younger generations, creating a lasting impact.

For House of Koko it is simple: they are happy, we are happy. It is a win-win situation where everyone wins - from the participants of the workshops and projects to those who welcome the beautiful creations of House of Koko into their homes.
