How to care for your Kokedama

This unique way of presenting plants also has a unique care! This does not mean that it is extra difficult, it is just a little different than what you are used to with plants in pots. A kokedama absorbs water from the bottom.

Each plant has its own 'instructions for use'.

For example, our Fluffy Duffy and Palmpje like to have nice water every week, while our Veras like to skip a week and not get too much.

Here you can find the right care for each plant:

Kokedama do not require repotting, but adjusting the watering per season is essential. In the summer they need more water due to higher evaporation, while in the winter they need to be watered less frequently. Pay close attention to the moisture of the root ball and feel the weight to see how much moisture is left in the bulb.

Here's how to help your Kokedama thrive in all seasons!
